Innovation has multiple facets. Digital and smart technologies are essential components for the social and economic development: notably in the present COVID period, digital communication has become a fundamental part of our everyday life.

However, the added value of human factor and the strength of strategic partnerships can also make the difference. The active participation and commitment of stakeholders surely represented one of the main asset which characterised the Italian Eusalp presidency in 2019, demonstrating that the capacity to communicate and to create successful partnerships can inspire innovation.

In this view, two innovative instruments are presented: the agreement among Italian municipalities and local administrations for a concrete collaboration among Eusalp and the Manifesto of young Eusalp entrepreneurs.

Concerning the imminent EU 21/27 programming period, Regione Lombardia is intensively focusing on the preparation of the Regional Operational Programs. The DIS represents an innovative concrete application of Artificial Intelligence methodology to governance, leading to the identification of the most appropriate regional policies to invest in.

The event will be held in Italian and English.
